Alumni & Friends of Semmes School, Inc., aka Semmes Heritage Park, an all volunteer organization, has a new time for the monthly meeting, the last Sunday of the Month at 4 pm at the park, 3871 Wulff Rd. New members welcome. Semmes Heritage Day May 5, 2018 has been endorsed by the AL 200 commission as an official state event and is on the AL200 event calendar. http://www.alabama200.org/.  
Semmes Bicentennial Heritage Art Show will take place in the “Semmesion”, Semmes Art Gallery located in the Semmes Public Library.  Local artist are invited to participate. Contact Volunteer Curator Lori Riley, Mary Ellen Ward Art Guild (facebook).
